Death & Grief Support

walking through the threshold in community

Death & grief are part of the human experience.

We are not meant to face it alone.

How do we navigate the most challenging phases of our lives? How do we reconcile our mortality, or cope with the loss of a beloved? How do we make sense of an impermanent life, and still find meaning in our connection & existence?

These are just a few of the questions you might be sitting with as you navigate this life as a human that lives and loves. As a grief companion & memorial celebrant, my role is to support you in “living with the questions” - and perhaps, finding your own way through this journey.

What does a death & grief support look like?

We meet you where you are.

Perhaps this is working through death anxiety - no matter how close or far away it may seem.

If you or a loved one are dying, a living funeral can be a meaningful way to gather and celebrate your life and connections while you are here.

If you’d like energetic healing support for a loved one who is dying, we can walk this path together.

I may visit your house while you are deep in your grief, as your companion, to sit and share over a cup of tea.

You might like to join a group of others in this walk through grief, to share your experiences & find your way with authenticity, connection, and purpose.

When you are looking for a celebrant to help craft a memorial that is actually meaningful to you & your family, we can craft a service that incites the spirit of your beloved.

This is built for you.

Meaningful Memorials

How do we honor the spirit of a loved one? Through life review, storytelling, and creative design, let us craft a meaningful life story experience or project together. Here are some ways we can bring thoughtful creativity into the process:

  • Engaged activities such as mandala creation, flower planting, or creative sharing in a service of remembrance

  • Age-appropriate conversations & activities for children & youth before or after death

  • Living Funeral

  • Designing a beautiful, sacred space for the dying

  • Nontraditional, Customized Funeral, Memorial, or Celebration of Life

  • Creating wall hangings with a loved one’s textiles

  • Preserving recipes

  • Crafting a video or scrapbook of memories

  • Unique-to-your-family legacy projects

  • Memorials for Disenfranchised & Unacknowledged Grief

Grief Support & Community Offerings

We do not always know how to talk about and respond to death & grief. As a professional social worker and bereavement specialist, I’m passionate about breaking down the myths of grief, and making space to process together in community.

I offer 1:1 grief counseling & healing services, grief groups, and education. If you are interested in being added to a list of folks interested in grief groups, send me a message.

If your organization is looking for a speaker, grief & bereavement training, or ceremonial support following the death of a community member, I am happy to be of service.
