Artist Statement

My work as an multimodal artist is focused on connecting us with our essential nature. In an age in which we are often distracted, disengaged, or entangled in traditional expectations, I like to find the place in art that connects us to our inner humanity – through color, laughter, truth, and remembrance that we, too, are a part of nature. In this way, the process of creating must remain dynamic and open to the beautiful imperfection that is this present, emotive, ever-changing existence.
