Within Wild Light
As I pay attention to the things that capture my awareness - the light of the sun filtering through brilliant green leaves of summer, the delicate beauty of a fern like lace upon the earth - I notice everywhere is wilderness. There is wilderness in the blue that vibrantly sings of the sky, the rough terrain beneath my feet on a trail, and the place inside which harnesses and reflects it all - back through the heart, untethered, unveiled, unencumbered. It is all alive in being with the great mysteries, with spirit, with this earth, with soil, with light.
All things are a little wild.
It is a dance with the unknown, this beingness. What is to come is but a mystery, and what is given to us as we flutter our eyes open to greet the waking, golden sun each morning is an offering. Life breathes through us in its own rhythm, in its own wild nature, giving its gift of awareness, movement, and love.
How do we choose to relate to this wilderness? How do we surrender to the uncertain beauty that is bound to rest in the palm of our hands?
This gathering place serves as a home through which to explore and share these musings, the ways in which I seek to explore them in solitude and in wise reflection and relationship with others. There is no greater teacher than this inner, wild light. I invite you to join in this exploration of beingness.
Here's to beginning, honoring, and humbly bowing to this love.
